How to integrate everything together...

That's the question... how do I integrate all my interests together? First off I have a degree in 3D Modeling, then a fascination with making jewelry, handmade and otherwise, and now to add to it I've discovered potential in creating 3D designs that I can get made in nylon plastic or stainless steel and now the possibility (once I figure out the technical side of it) of creating 3D objects in full color. So do I have a website for each? I'd rather not, I may be a fragmented artist, but I just would like to keep cwestbrook.com and have an easy to navigate menu depending on what a customer is looking for. Either that or I don't think it would be true to myself.

I may be going to an anime convention in May called Fanime, and from there I'm going to have a test run of a few pieces. I'll have to take it one step at a time I suppose.

So, it's been a while

As things go, I can be pretty horrible at focusing on my website when I have a billion other things going on. (Yes, a billion.) I started working for a pretty cool website company in my city of residence (SF). I am also on the hunt for the perfect first apartment with my boyfriend of 2+ years. I also have a few projects to finish up that include paintings for family members for Christmas and making myself some jewelry to match the dress I'll be wearing to a Christmas party. That said, I know I'm an excuse-filled procrastinator!

At the very least I've revamped my website to a degree by tweaking my logo and creating a few more modern navigation buttons. It's a start.

What I really need to do is start rendering more 3D pieces as well as taking more pictures of handmade pieces that are still available.

My Virtual Life (at the moment)

Ok now,

I admit I haven't been as good as I should be at getting my work online, but life does occasionally get in the way. I finally have put up my website, though the gallery needs quite a bit of work.

I am also focusing on learning 3D designing which will certainly not get in the way of my one of a kind handmade pieces but will be part of my overall works.

3D design doesn't get in the way of being creative, as some seem to think, it actually can be a big help seeing as you don't have to worry about the prototype being the end all and be all of the design if it doesn't go quite as planned. It also lowers the price of custom design since if something needs changing it's much easier to do virtually.
